Paris Monuments Eiffel Tower
View of the Eiffel Tower from Place de Varsovie in Paris, with in the foreground the d'Léna Bridge. Pont d'Léna was build by Napoleon to celebrate his victory in 1806 over the Prussians. In 1937 it was widened to complete the building of the Palais de Chaillot. This photo is taken 13 days before the year 2000 as you can see on the Hugh display mounted on the "Tour Eiffel" as a countdown towards the millennium.
