Paris Monuments Eiffel Tower
Photo of the Eiffel tower. Taken from the opposite site of the river Seine in Paris from "Place de Varsovie" in Paris, with in the foreground the d'Léna Bridge. Pont d'Léna was built by Napoleon to celebrate his victory in 1806 over the Prussians. In 1937 it was widened to complete the building of the Palais de Chaillot. This photo is taken in January 2000.
