Paris Monuments  Notre-Dame

Photo of the river Seine and the back of the Notre-Dame in Paris. This photograph is taken during the night from Pont de la Tournelle which is crossing the river Seine connecting Ile Saint Louis with Quai de la Tournelle. The Notre Dame church is situated on Ile de la Cite also a small eiland in the river Seine laying in the fourth district of Paris. The Notre-Dame is one of the most important Gothic churches in Europe due to its age and architectural quality standing in the heart of historical Paris France. The nave is 110 meters (360 ft) long and 33 meters (108 ft) heigh. The facade was completed in the 13th century, its a remarkable example of Gothic symmetry.
