Below you can find a selection of our finest photos taken by our private photographer during his many visits to the French metropolitan Paris. This selection contains pictures of many famous Parisian monuments and buildings taken all through these years. Even now we are still busy extending our Paris photo collection, owning to our visitors' questions or to our own interest. Please keep in mind that we did not put the photos in the highest quality on our website, because we want to prevent very long downloading times. The photos are all stored in an acceptable JPEG format in order to find a compromise between the downloading time and the quality of the picture.

Eiffel Tower	The symbol of Paris. This 320 meters by Gustave Eiffel designed masterpiece was originally erected for the World Fair in 1889.
Arc de Triomphe	This famous Arc was built in memory of Napoleon's great army in between the Avenue de la Grande Armée and the Champs-Elysées.
Musee du Louvre	You have to reserve a few days at least for discovering the complete art collection displayed in the Louvre Museum.
Sacre-Coeur	The building of this majestically on Montmartre Hill standing basilica was started in 1876.
Opera de Paris Garnier	The original Opera constructed by Garnier in 1875.
Opera de Paris Bastille	One of Europe's most controversial and modern Opera houses, opened on 14 July 1989.
La Defense	21st century skyscrapers business district erected outside the western city-limits of Paris with its spectacular Grande Arche.
Hotel de Ville	Completed in 1882 Hotel de Ville is nowadays the seat of the city's municipal government (Town Hall).
Pont Alexandre III	Beautiful decorated bridge connecting the Champs Elysées and the Esplanade des Invalides.
Notre-Dame	This magnificent gothic cathedral built at Ill de la City is another well-known monument of the French capital.
Moulin Rouge	This famous music hall situated at the foot of Montmartre Hill founded in 1889.
Metro & RER	Glimpse of the Parisian subway.
View from Eiffel Tower	To have an overwhelming impression of the view over the French capital from standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
St-Eustache	Regarded as the most beautiful church after the Notre Dame, it is standing at the edge of Les Halles.
Statue of Liberty	The "little" version of its big sister in the United States of America.
Place de la Concorde	King Louis XVI died here with his head cut by the guillotine set up at this famous square. Now it is the standing place of the Egyptian obelisk.
Odéon theatre	This neo-classical theatre was created in 1779 to provide accommodation for the French comedy. Destroyed in 1807 by fire and in 1968 during the student riots.
The Sorbonne university	In 1253 founded by Robert de Sorbon this complex of buildings occupied by the University of Paris.
The Madeleine church	It has the form and structure of a Greek temple, in 1806 erected building to honor the great army of Napoleon.
Panthéon	This impressive late 18th century neo-classical building was inspired by the Rome Pantheon and ordered by Louis XV.
Père Lachaise	Paris most well known cemetery, located at a hill overlooking the city.
Sainte-Chapelle	The Sainte-Chapelle a jewel of Gothic art.
Musée d' Orsay	First a railway station now a nice Art (1848 1914) covering Museum.
