Below you can find a selection of our finest photos taken by our private photographer during his many visits to the French metropolitan Paris. This selection contains pictures of many famous Parisian monuments and buildings taken all through these years. Even now we are still busy extending our Paris photo collection, owning to our visitors' questions or to our own interest. Please keep in mind that we did not put the photos in the highest quality on our website, because we want to prevent very long downloading times. The photos are all stored in an acceptable JPEG format in order to find a compromise between the downloading time and the quality of the picture.

| Notre-Dame | This magnificent gothic cathedral built at Ill de la City is another well-known monument of the French capital. |

| Place de la Concorde | King Louis XVI died here with his head cut by the guillotine set up at this famous square. Now it is the standing place of the Egyptian obelisk. |
| Odéon theatre | This neo-classical theatre was created in 1779 to provide accommodation for the French comedy. Destroyed in 1807 by fire and in 1968 during the student riots. |
| The Sorbonne university | In 1253 founded by Robert de Sorbon this complex of buildings occupied by the University of Paris. |
| The Madeleine church | It has the form and structure of a Greek temple, in 1806 erected building to honor the great army of Napoleon. |
| Panthéon | This impressive late 18th century neo-classical building was inspired by the Rome Pantheon and ordered by Louis XV. |
| Père Lachaise | Paris most well known cemetery, located at a hill overlooking the city. |
| The Sainte-Chapelle a jewel of Gothic art. | |
| Musée d' Orsay | First a railway station now a nice Art (1848 1914) covering Museum. |
